Barclays made a concerted effort last year to embrace social, taking on a content-marketing-driven approach to communications. To support this new positioning, one of Bennison’s flagship initiatives has been the ‘Digital Eagles’ campaign, which aims to help customers, as well as staff, get the most out of the digital revolution. It extends to initiatives such as running free, in-branch ‘tea and teach’ sessions. This supremely busy businesswoman regularly features in media coverage on ‘power mums’, and spoke at the Mumsnet ‘How Do You Do It All?’ conference. She also finds time to be involved in an array of industry bodies, including ISBA, WACL, the Advertising Association, the IPA and ASA.
