Mayo, who has worked at the company for over two years, has said that today (24 December) will be her last day.

She is set to join another company within the events industry next month, details of which are to be revealed in the New Year.

Prior to TRO Mayo held events related roles at brands such as Lebara, Honda UK and Callaway Golf.

Commenting on her departure, Mayo said: "I have had a fantastic two-and-a-half years at TRO having taken an unusual route into the agency via being ‘the client’ for eight years prior to joining. I leave with lots of great experiences, memories and perhaps most importantly, friends. I now look forward to my next adventure in 2016."

Michael Wyrley-Birch, chief operating officer at TRO added: "We thank Sarah for all she has done for TRO over the last few years. Her legacy will live on – and we will forever be a ‘fitter’ agency for the running community she has inspired amongst our team! We wish her every success for the next chapter."

Wyrley-Birch took out the top spot in the Event 100 Club 2016, meanwhile the agency's financials for the year ending 31 December 2014 were released last week.
