Schools training agency calls direct marketing review

The Training and Development Agency for Schools has called a review of its direct marketing account.

The AAR is handling the early stage of the statutory review and COI, which will handle the final pitch, is due to shortlist agencies by next week. The incumbent, DraftFCB, will repitch.

The successful agency will take responsibility for CRM communications aimed at encouraging more young people to take up a career in teaching.

The campaigns will also seek to maintain a continuing relationship with trainees to ensure they remain on the training programme, as well as encouraging them to pursue their careers in the state education system rather than private schools.

COI declined to comment.
