Schwarzkopf is preparing to launch the advertising next month with Valance promoting the Live hair dye range.
According to reports the ads will appear across poster sites and in print starting Monday. The campaign was created by Burkitt DDB and will push three colours -- Cosmic Blue, True Blonde and Hypnotic Red.
Valance said: "It was great to be chosen as the face of Schwarzkopf. After all, don't blondes have more fun?"
Valance proved to be a huge hit when she first launched her singing career with the pop song 'Kiss Kiss'. However her subsequent efforts have failed to match her earlier success, with her most recent album 'State of Mind' failing to make the top 20 when it was released last November.
She follows in the footsteps of fellow 'Neighbours' alumnus and popstrel Natalie Imbruglia, who uses her good looks to promote L'Oreal skincare.
If the campaign is successful it could be extended beyond the UK and into Europe, Australia and Asia.
It is the second recent ad deal the Aussie has signed having also joined the Pepsi pop wagon along with fellow antipodeans Harry Kewell and 'Australian Idol' Guy Sebastian.
