- Ad 2-one, which is the direct marketing spin-off of VivendiNet, has signed a deal with the online classified advertising brand Scoot which will allow the portal to syndicate its ad and sponsorship inventory across all of the digital platforms.

Ad 2-one will use its multi-platform advertising service to allow clients to access Scoot's consumer base via mobile phones, PCs, personal digital assistants or interactive TV. The service will be based on an opt-in model, which will avoid customers receiving spam.

Thierry Laval, ad 2-one's chief executive, said that the targeting of its advertising offer is crucial: "Once the consumer has opted-in to the advertising, they will hear or see adverts that are specific to their needs at that precise moment in time. This assures advertisers that their advertisements are being targeted at the right audience."
