An Australian actor who has appeared in Chopper and The Inbetweeners 2 mimics the violent death suffered by whales at the hands of hunters in a new online campaign for the conservation organisation Sea Shepherd. In the spot, created by the Sydney agency The Works, David Field performs the "ultimate death scene" alone on a stage. It ends with footage of whaling, along with Field endorsing Sea Shepherd. The work will run online and is backed by TV, cinema, print and radio activity. It was created by Adam Bodfish, Leo Barbosa and Mark Harricks, and directed by Tony Prescott.
