The event will begin on 4 June and will run until 2 August. In true Secret Cinema style, the location of the performance will be kept under wraps.
Audiences will be invited to journey to a Secret City in a galaxy far, far away and enjoy a screening of Episode V from the iconic double trilogy. The event promises to be the "most ambitious and dreamlike Secret Cinema experiences the UK has ever seen".
Tickets will be released on 18 March. Secret Cinema has also hinted that the process of securing entry will be more complicated than events before, advising fans on its Facebook page to "Look out for a secret code on forgotten buildings in the days to come, which will lead to a secret portal".
Last year saw the creative business host screenings of The Great Dictator, Dead Poets Society and Back To The Future. The latter, which featured a build of a 1950s American town in east London, encountered a number of setbacks, resulting in a cancellation of the entire first week’s events.
