Setanta Sports signs five-year Nationwide Conference deal

Irish pay-TV network Setanta Sports has signed a five-year deal with the UK Nationwide Conference to screen 79 games every season.

The broadcaster will screen Nationwide Conference matches, play offs and the Conference Cup competition, which will be renamed the Setanta Sports Cup.
Live Conference matches will air on Thursdays, with a second game over the following four days.
The deal follows Setanta's win of the broadcast rights of the US PGA Tour, which Sky Sports has screened for 10 years. It will also screen 46 Premier League games a year from 2007 to 2010 after winning two of rights packages as part of a final round of bidding with BSkyB.
