Seton Scholl Healthcare, the company formed during the summer

following the merger of Seton Healthcare and Scholl, is recruiting an

entire marketing team as it strives to create a range of international

brands.

Dieno George, formerly Seton’s deputy chief executive, has been made

managing director for global marketing and UK sales. George intends to

merge the two companies’ promotional and merchandising activities and is

planning to recruit a team of marketers.

Scholl, whose brands include footwear, will close its consumer-products

office in Luton and will move its existing marketing staff to Seton’s

Manchester office.

Seton hopes to extend its own brands, which include Woodward baby

medicines as well as bandages and skin treatments.

Seton Scholl would not comment on whether the new set-up would affect

advertising. Scholl uses DMB&B for its creative work and BMP DDB for

media buying.
