Simon Peck, chief growth officer at Engine, has quit the agency.
Peck, formerly Engine’s group managing director, only took up the new position in January after a restructure that saw all of its agency brands come under the Engine umbrella. He had worked at the agency for more than 20 years, having joined the now-defunct WCRS in 1998.
Before taking on the new-business role, Peck was responsible for the launch of the London office of Engine content agency Trailer Park, ran Engine’s PR and content division, oversaw Engine’s integrated offer to clients and led the group's government relationships. Peck also established Engine’s successful programme to accelerate more women into leadership.
Peck said: "I’ve been lucky. Engine’s been an amazing place to work for many years, full of brilliant opportunities to work with varied clients and awesome talent across the breadth of our capabilities. But the time is now right for the next chapter and to say a fond farewell."
Jim Moffatt, Engine’s European chief executive, added: "Simon has been a potent force at Engine for many years. He is hugely talented, trusted by clients and staff alike. He has been exceptional at building effective teams and successful client relationships. He leaves us in great shape as we continue to build Engine and we wish him every success for the future."
