Skinner in move to Fallon from Atlantic

Fallon has hired Richard Skinner, the creative director at Atlantic Records, in the new role of creative associate.

Skinner, who has been at Atlantic Records since 2003, will work closely with the creative department to sharpen specific elements of its creative offering, including visual content and music.

He is also expected to be closely involved from the outset of projects, helping creatives to develop their ideas and see them through to production. He will report to Richard Flintham, the executive creative director of Fallon, and Karina Wilsher, the agency's managing director.

During his time at Atlantic Records, Skinner directed music videos for Hard-Fi and commissioned work for James Blunt and Muse.

Before that, he worked at XL Recordings, producing work for The White Stripes, Basement Jaxx, Dizzee Rascal and The Prodigy.

Wilsher said: "Richard is part of the growing talent at Fallon with a 21st-century skillset, stretching across idea generation and production. His experience is invaluable as we move into more innovative and creative spaces."
