Slendertone selects Lowe Live to handle pounds 7m creative work

Slendertone, the company that supplies electronic fitness

equipment, has appointed Lowe Live to its pounds 7 million creative

account.

Lowe Live will create direct response press advertising for

Slendertone.

It will also run outdoor and bus campaigns.

Lowe Live won the account after a pitch against several other agencies

including BHWG Proximity, ehs:realtime and the incumbent on the account,

MBO.

The agency will create advertising to support a new product called Flex,

which is an advance on Slendertone's pad technology. Instead it works as

a belt with an attached control unit.

Slendertone has been targeted at consumers wanting to lose weight but it

is thought that it will also look more broadly at the general health and

fitness market. Part of Lowe Live's task will be to increase the

purchase of Slendertone products among men as the majority of sales are

to women.
