Ryan joins the agency from Slice’s parent company Engine, where she was the group’s marketing executive.

She replaces marketing director Rupert Cheswright, who joined Slice from agency Line-Up in February last year. This week Cheswright started at Vista, formerly known as Logistik, as creative services project director.

Last month Slice unveiled a new rebrand and announced that it is was working with brands such as Coca-Cola, Santander and Lynx.

Tom Rutter, managing director of Slice, told Event: "This is a pivotal time for Slice. We’ve got a great story to tell, and Sophie is exactly the person we need to help us develop our brand further and champion all the great work that we do."
