After a year in which the internet and CRM have changed the dynamics of the DM industry, competition to win the 2001 Smart Awards looks set to be more intense than ever.
The awards are unique in direct marketing as being the only competition to recognise the contribution of the industry's suppliers - including call centres, software suppliers, mailing houses and printers. The Smart Awards 2001 will recognise and reward the best of these.
The awards are open to suppliers who have demonstrated excellence or innovation in their field, with categories falling into four main sections: print and packaging, technology, services and auxillary services.
A grand prix will be awarded to the entry that demonstrates a significant contribution to the work of their clients and to the industry at large.
