Hit squads handed out "DashPacks" containing air freshener, aromatherapy kit and a Smart car brochure to people as they sat in their vehicles waiting to board ferries. People could also sit in two Smart models in the food outlet village.
The activity ran over two weeks in late August. Method Two works in partnership with the Dover Harbour Board to promote and implement live promotions.
"The Port of Dover has a diverse and broad audience. Smart wanted to target more families alongside its work at niche events," said Method Two joint managing director Michael Chester.
