Founder and managing director of the acquired company Nick Eve will continue to manage the business along with his core team. Pumphouse is currently valued as a £2m turnover business and will remain as an independent company.
The new partnership will allow Pumphouse to evolve its client relationships with additional support of Smyle’s industry experience and its in-house creative, technical, video and design services. Smyle commented that the move is consistent with its three-year plan to grow the business and foster new client relationships.
Rick Stainton, Smyle’s managing director, said: "Our vision for how live experiences and branded media content can effect real change for a business will be strengthened by Pumphouse’s expertise in internal communications and content support."
Eve added: "This is a fantastic opportunity for both companies; our cultural and geographical fit is excellent. We both stand for creativity, long-term client relationships, high standards and industry leading production values.
"Together with our priority focus on our customers and desire to create, produce and deliver world class projects, our offering will be greatly enhanced by utilising the combined resources and experience of both partners."
