John Lewis’ marketing director, Craig Inglis, dresses up as the brand’s latest mascot, Monty, for all those who complained the penguin wasn’t real (see Diary).

The talent agency Somethin’ Else impressively won a Children’s Bafta for Poetry: Between The Lines, for BBC Learning – a poetry series for primary-school children. 

The guys at Channel 4 certainly know how to throw a party. The entertainment at its Upfront event at Old Billingsgate featured face-painting, Channel 4-branded ping-pong tables, a burger stand and music from Rudimental. Oh, and strange men in shell suits.
