Sony awards Omnicom $80 million pan-European media

The appointment of OMD follows that of Saatchi & Saatchi to the pan-European creative account in August following a head to head battle against the incumbent, DDB Needham Worldwide.

The review, saw presentations from Young & Rubicam with Media Edge; incumbents DDB Worldwide and Optimum Media Direction; J Walter Thompson with MindShare; Saatchi & Saatchi with Zenith Media; and BBDO Worldwide.
