Mallinson, who orchestrated the £1m Southern Comfort sponsorship of Channel 4's Big Brother this summer will be working to attract more global brands to the agency.

Before working on Southern Comfort, Mallinson managed France, Benelux and Greece for Brown-Forman. He worked at Rothmans International as area director before that.

He said: "The agency has much potential for providing a one-stop shop for multi-national clients."
