- Clear Channel International has appointed Stevie Spring as chief executive of More Group UK.
Spring, currently managing partner of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, takes up her new position in February. "It's an exciting change of career for me. The media world is the most dynamic branch of advertising and outdoor is the broadcast medium of its future," said Spring.
Roger Parry, Chief Executive of CCI added: "We are delighted to have someone of Stevie's talent and reputation on board. The outdoor medium has seen major consolidation in the past two years. It is a global business and all the main players have global ambitions. With the levels of investment now being ploughed into the medium, outdoor has massive potential for growth. Stevie's creativity, client service skills and drive will help us unlock that potential."
In a separate move, Sam Hurford, who was Young & Rubicam's creative director on Ford before the company merged with Rainey Kelly, has been made redundant while Tim Broadbent, who was the planning director of Y&R, is expected to take up a senior role elsewhere in the Y&R empire.
