Kia started informal talks with rival networks following a creative review in November 2003 but has now decided to remain at Starcom Motive. The incumbent creative agency Mustoes also retained the creative account.
Paul Williams, managing director of Kia Motors, said: "Starcom Motive has consistently demonstrated creative and effective media strategy, along with fantastic buying power in a highly competitive market place. We are delighted that the relationship is continuing into its third year."
Will Phipps, a group account director at Starcom Motive, said: "We've proved that with a comparatively low car spend we can help drive sales to its best ever level. With increased investment in 2004 and a fantastic range of new model launches we're confident we can push Kia forward even further."
