Brian Stewart, vice-chairman and joint creative director of the
former Delaney Fletcher Bozell, is leaving the agency to become a
full-time photographer.
Stewart had been the partner of Greg Delaney, the agency’s chairman and
joint creative director, for eight years. Together they have created
many of the agency’s award-winning campaigns, for clients including
Triumph, Chrysler Jeep and the Army.
Stewart said the recent management buyout of Delaney Lund Knox Warren &
Partners from the merged Bozell and FCB networks made him feel the time
was right to leave. He left last Friday.
Delaney said: ’Brian has been a brilliant partner. He’s a great art
director and has a very good eye. I think he’ll be a fantastic
photographer.’
Before joining Delaney Fletcher in 1990, Stewart founded Elgie Stewart
Smith with Don Elgie and Barry Smith, but it went bust. He has also
worked at FCB, WCRS and Hall Advertising.
He trained at Edinburgh College of Art.
