Storehouse awards pounds 3.5m Mothercare and Bhs to Walker

Storehouse, the parent of Bhs and Mothercare, has handed its combined pounds 3.5 million media planning and buying account to Walker Media, ending a two-month pitch for the business.

Media, ending a two-month pitch for the business.



At the same time, Mothercare has moved the creative half of its pounds 2

million portion of the account to Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters without a

pitch.



The Bhs creative account remains with Saatchi & Saatchi.



Walker Media is reported to have shouldered aside six rivals - including

the incumbent, the Media Business, along with Carat Manchester, BBJ

Media Services and Motive - to take the planning and buying task.
