Sudocrem is aiming to reposition itself as a brand rather than just a nappy-rash cream with a new TV spot targeting mums. The ad, created by The Minimart, spoofs a famous scene in Jaws, with two eight-year-old boys sitting around a kitchen table comparing scars and competing to tell the best story about old scrapes. The spot, which launched this week during Coronation Street, is designed to remind mums that Sudocrem is there for life’s little dramas. It was written and art directed by Bev Fortnum, who also directed the spot in-house. Media was handled by TCS.
