Although Saller describes Diageo’s business results as tough, she has nonetheless had an exhilarating year and pays tribute to the "talented people who are pulling out the stops to shift the trajectory". In September, Saller unveiled a huge campaign for Johnnie Walker.
She is excited by the potential of the work, shifting the whisky brand’s ‘Keep Walking’ positioning to focus on joy. The 2015 Marketing Society Leader of the Year jokes that she is "always curious when I wake up as to which country I’m in", reflecting the global dimension of her role.
However, making time for family is important: a surprise 35th wedding anniversary party, thrown by her children, was Saller’s personal highlight this year.
