This month's iPad edition of T3, the tech magazine published by Future, features a video cover wrap for Renault.

The cover wrap, created in-house by Future for the August edition, features an interactive video ad promoting the car manufacturer's ZE electric vehicle range, and is branded with the T3 logo.

Links in the ad take consumers directly to the Renault website for information about the vehicles. Manning Gottlieb OMD brokered the deal.

Phil York, UK marketing director at Renault, said: "The iPad is an innovative and engaging medium, reaching an early adopter audience, making it a perfect fit for likely electric vehicle buyers."

Future claims that since the launch of the iPad it has seen sales of its T3 digital version grow at a "phenomenal rate", having been downloaded 100,000 times since it launched in October last year.

Last month, Renault rolled out a global advertising campaign, created by Paris-based advertising agency Publicis Conseil, to promote its ongoing commitment to making electric cars.
