Tabasco grows trial with door to door sampling

Tabasco is to launch a sampling campaign this autumn aimed at 18-44 year olds. The push is through WFCA, which is also working on the above the line activity.

Samples of Tabasco sauce will be distributed in sachets via doordrops and link ups with other food manufacturers. The push is looking to encourage use of the condiment with dishes, such as pasta sauces.

"We did a similar push last year with doordrops for Stonegate Dairies' eggs. The door-to-door campaign achieved a high level of response measured by our redeemable coupons,

said WFCA account director Gavin Berkerey.
