Taylors of Harrogate shuns the usual coffee-ad conventions with its first TV campaign. BMB devised the spot, which is a visual piece that seeks to recreate the experience of drinking Taylors’ coffee. It begins with a shot of what appears to be space and then pans out to reveal a darkened room filled with lights and bric-a-brac before cutting to images of visual patterns. The soundtrack is a version of the 1855 song Listen To The Mockingbird. There is no voiceover. The work was written by Tom Sillars, art directed by Dani Asensio and directed by Frank Budgen through Gorgeous.
