TBWA GGT Simons Palmer has produced its first work for Societe Bic
since winning the account last December.
A new poster campaign for Twin Lady razors will break nationally on 1
June, backed by a pounds 1.5 million media spend.
One execution features a pair of long, smooth legs stretched across a
96-sheet poster accompanied by the words, ’A couple of minutes of action
and it’s all over.’
In a second execution, designed to run across twin 48-sheet sites, a leg
is stretched out under the words: ’Just because your legs go on forever
doesn’t mean shaving has to.’
Gerard Hickie, marketing director at Biro Bic, said: ’Twin Lady is one
of the fastest-growing brands aimed at women. The campaign plays a key
role in achieving brand leadership.’
The ads were written by Dave Wood and art directed by Pete Harle. The
photographer was Donna Trope, who is known for her fashion and beauty
work. Media was planned and bought by Booth Lockett Makin.
Societe Bic centralised its dollars 45 million global creative account
into TBWA Worldwide last year as part of a move to create a more
coherent image for the Bic portfolio, which includes lighters,
stationery, pens, Tippex correction fluid and razors.
