Nick Allsop joins as a creative partner. He was previously the global creative director at Spark44 on the Jaguar business. Before that, he spent almost a decade at Bartle Bogle Hegarty as a creative director and partner, where he worked on brands including Old El Paso, Dulux and Audi.
The agency has also hired Aaron McGurk and Chris Lapham, the Wieden & Kennedy London creatives behind Three’s "#SingItKitty". The duo also worked on Honda’s "hands" campaign and, in a previous stint at DDB, worked on Harvey Nichols, Marmite and Philips.
Richard Stainer, the chief executive of TBWA\London, said: "It is brilliant to get a trio of this calibre joining the company at the same point.
"The hires we have made throughout the year ensure that we are truly geared up to deliver disruption fit for the 21st century and modern work that continues to drive growth for all our clients."
Allsop will be the creative lead on Nissan, while McGurk and Lapham will work across the agency’s whole client portfolio.
The trio will report to Graeme Douglas, the TBWA\London executive creative director, who joined the shop in October. Douglas previously worked at Havas Media Group.
Douglas said: "We are continuing our efforts to ensure TBWA has the most forward-thinking creative team in London. Bringing in Nick, Aaron and Chris is a key part of that strategy and I welcome them to the team."
