TDI has restructured its national sales team and started a

recruitment drive to fill vacancies created by a series of

promotions.

In the reshuffle, deputy sales manager Stephen Spiers takes the new role

of sales manager with responsibility across the company’s two business

groups.

The move effectively creates a new management tier at TDI. Previously,

two deputy sales managers reported directly to business group directors

Jane Henley and Alison Rae.

Senior account manager Janice Fernandes has taken Spiers’ previous

position.

Explaining the move, TDI chief executive Jeremy Male said: ’As the

business grows - and 1999 has been another year of growth - it’s

important to assess your management structure. We felt we needed to

create this new management position.’

To further bolster the business groups, Tim Cartwright has been promoted

to account executive. He was previously a telemarketer. Meanwhile, Karen

Jackson has been made a national account executive.

Sales co-ordinators Suzana Trbaric and Michelle Gilbert have also become

national account executives.

The changes mean that the company is now looking to appoint three people

to its national sales team.
