The inaugural event, which organisers said is expected to attract more than 50,000 visitors, will take place at Excel London between 10 and 12 January. It will run alongside the London Boat Show, held at the same venue.
The 2014 Telegraph Cruise Show joins eight consumer exhibitions that form part of the VOS Media's portfolio, a TMG subsidary, including the Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show and the Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Shows.
The exhibition is aimed at seasoned cruisers and first-timers and will feature over 30 adventure, family and ocean cruise lines, as well as a dedicated river cruise pavilion.
One of the event’s highlights will be Q&A sessions featuring a line-up of destination experts, authorities on cruising and celebrity speakers including TV travel personality Judith Chalmers, novelist Anthony Horowitz and BBC One’s Human Planet producer Dale Templar.
Food and wine tasting will also be available alongside cookery demonstrations and wine tasting masterclasses, as well as family activities from each cruise line in a dedicated family area.
A VIP deck will also be available for Telegraph subscribers and exhibitor’s key clients.
Charles Starmer-Smith, head of travel at TMG, said: "We have worked closely with cruise companies and industry bodies to create what we believe is an exceptional show that is informative and practical whilst being packed full of fun experiences.
"Exhibitors will not only be able to reach new audiences but they will be able to show them what it’s really like to holiday on-board their ships."
