Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Fallon each collected two gold awards at the inaugural Campaign Big Awards, which were held last night at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

BBH triumphed in the Digital category for its Lynx mobile activity, and in the Direct category for its "John Wayne" work around Flora's sponsorship of the London Marathon.

Fallon landed two gold awards in the TV & Cinema category for its Cadbury "gorilla" and Skoda "cake" spots.

Other agencies scooping gold awards were Beattie McGuinness Bungay in Digital for its iPint application for Carling, DDB London in Press for its "menswear" Harvey Nichols ad, Mother in TV & Cinema for its "here comes the girls" Boots Christmas spot and The Partners in Outdoor for its National Gallery Grand Tour concept.

There were also two gold awards in the Integrated category. These went to McCann Erickson London for its "Jake Courage - shooting a hero" campaign for Microsoft Xbox Halo 3 and to Nitro for its "the put it where you want it tour" work for Nike.

Nigel Bogle, the chairman of the Big Awards and the group chairman of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, said: "Overall, it was a good year, if not an outstanding one, with some particular highlights in TV & Cinema and Outdoor."
