ASOS is a marketing phenomenon, and Westlake, who heads the online retailer’s brand and digital marketing and advertising – which includes content creation, communications and CRM – is a growing force at the fast-fashion company. In her own words, she is firmly focused on "interpreting and harnessing technology to improve the customer proposition". The former Emap digital director has been at the forefront of building ASOS as a media brand in its own right. Having taken on the role of customer experience director in January this year, her influence there is on the rise.
