Aliens are taking over the Earth, inciting mass panic as their leader announces his arrival on TV, in the latest film from Thinkbox, which ties up with brands including Lucozade and DFS for a special Christmas ad break.
The appearance of the invaders on TV prompts viewers to experience a range of emotions, from blind panic to awe and enthusiasm. But, as is so often the case, real life can not match up to the magic of the screen and the people of Earth are in for a bit of a shock when they meet the new arrivals in the flesh.
The ad rolls out on Boxing Day from 9pm during breaks that tie up with brands including DFS, Lucozade and Sheba. It is these brand's ads that the extra-terrestrials interrupt as they attempt to make contact with earthlings.
The breaks will run during Captain Phillips on ITV, Big Fat Quiz of the Year on Channel 4, Love Actually on ITV2, Game of Thrones on Sky Atlantic, Conviction on Sky Living and Transformers on Sky One.
