Recognising the talents of this collaborative, creative marketer, employer Mars promoted him in September from a UK role to an international one, overseeing chocolate-brand marketing in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. However, the extra ground and budget are unlikely to intimidate Delabriere: as Mars marketing director ‘for sharing’ in the UK, he was responsible for a combined portfolio budget of £260m and the global coordination of Maltesers on a budget of £420m. Mars poached Delabriere from Innocent Drinks in 2012, after he’d built up a solid FMCG grounding at Unilever and Danone.
