Taste of London
Regent’s Park in London will play host to this year’s Taste of London, which is set to run for five days from June 17-21. As always, signature dishes from a selection of the city’s most renowned restaurants, which this year will include Aqua Kyota, Duck & Waffle, Pont St and Spice Market, will be available to sample, without the fine dining price tag.
There will also be a series of live demonstrations, interactive masterclasses and wine and whiskey tastings for visitors to enjoy, as well as a producers market.
Chiswick in London is set to receive a new food festival this summer, aptly named EatChiswick. The festival, which is scheduled for June 1-8, will involve more than 200 venues including restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee bars and shops. It is designed to support local traders by encouraging people to visit the area.
So far the likes of Fuller’s, Sipsmith, Sam’s Brasserie, Wyndam House Butchers, City Barge and Hot House have been confirmed for the festival, and they will deliver everything from street food dishes and one-off events through to mixology masterclasses.
Streets of Spain
Experience Spain in the heart of London’s Southbank from 1-4 May, when Streets of Spain returns to the city. The festival will feature a number of street food stalls offering up everything from paella to churros, as well as the La Boqueria market, where visitors will be able to purchase Spanish delicacies including chorizo, cheese, Iberico ham, picante peppers, tapas, patatas bravas, spices and Padron Peppers.
There will be a focus on Spanish wines, with wine classes available as well as Camp Viejo bars, meanwhile Spanish music and live art will keep festival-goers entertained.
