- News International Internet Publishing has said it is committed to providing more detailed and comprehensive online auditing of websites to advertisers.

Until now, The Times and The Sunday Times have submitted audit results that provide details of impressions and registered users to ABC//electronic. However, as advertisers and agencies push for more information, News International says it will now offer more detailed audits.

ABC//electronic certificates will now be issued quarterly and will give a detailed breakdown of pages accessed for both The Times and The Sunday Times online, where previously these were limited to server analysis.

There will also be an analysis by section, highlighting the main areas of viewer use within the site and including the number of registrations per month.
