Titan invests in new integrated division

Titan Outdoor has hired Matt Batchelor to head its new integrated division Titan+.

The division, which launched in December last year, brings together three key business areas of Titan's services: Landmark, which manages Titan's premium outdoor sites; Digital, which manages the company's Transvision network; and Experience, which manages face-to-face marketing, including exhibitions, promotions and sampling.

Batchelor will be responsible for the division's strategic development, and is charged with raising its profile among agencies, outdoor specialists and clients.

He will also be responsible for a 13-strong account team, which will work alongside Titan's specialist and agency account teams, and will report to Titan Outdoor's group sales director, Steve Atkinson.

Batchelor joins from Associated Newspapers, where he was an associate director of Associated Northcliffe Digital. He spent eight years at Associated, beginning as an agency sales executive for The Mail on Sunday, before becoming the strategy and development manager, where he ran the creative solutions and business development teams.

A deal brokered by Titan+, which sees lastminute.com run a month-long campaign on a premium backlit site at Clapham Junction rail station, launches on 1 March.
