Toaldo to build Ingram London operation as first managing director

Ingram has hired Simon Toaldo, the managing director of Euro RSCG, as its first managing director.

The move reunites him with Leslie Butterfield, the Ingram managing partner, who worked with Toaldo when they were the chairman and managing director of Partners BDDH before its merger with Euro RSCG. Toaldo had spells at Rapier, WCRS and Davidson Pearce before joining Partners BDDH.

Toaldo, who joins Ingram in January, is charged with building the scale of the London operation as the business looks to grow globally. Chris Ingram, the founder of Ingram, said: "We're doing great work for clients, but we're still a small company that is looking to go global and we need something to build from."
