TOP 300 AGENCIES: New-media specialists

Privately owned full-service agencies are holding their own, making up almost half of the top ten, which is headed by Incepta. I-level leads the way in planning and buying.

Methodology: Agencies were contacted at the end of 2002 and asked to

provide figures for their new-media income, new-media billings, UK

agency staff numbers and the percentage of total agency work for new

media.

The full-service list was then ranked according to the agency's declared

new-media income.

The media shops are ranked according to billings. Only those with 75 per

cent of new-media work or more are included.
