Ros Sinclair and Sean Thompson, one of TBWA’s most senior creative

teams, have quit the agency to join Leagas Delaney, where they will work

at the level of creative directors.

Sinclair, a copywriter, and Thompson, an art director, are ’brand

guardians’ at TBWA, where they have day-to-day responsibility for

creative work for a number of clients, including Goldfish and

Accurist.

The duo joined Simons Palmer Denton Clemmow & Johnson from CDP three

years ago. They created the launch campaign for Goldfish starring Billy

Connolly and won awards for their Nike poster campaign which colourfully

depicted the feeling of the ’runner’s high’.

Sinclair said: ’Leagas Delaney is a great agency. TBWA is a really good

agency but it’s not the agency we joined.’

The pair are the third senior team to leave TBWA in recent weeks. Jason

Fretwell and Greg Milbourne have also quit (story, p8) and Pip Bishop

and Chris Hodgkiss, who created the Nissan Almera ’Sweeney’ campaign,

have gone freelance.
