Total Media has picked up the media planning and buying account for

Timeframed, a company that reproduces historical documents.

Account manager Nick Adams is in charge of buying for the account.

Adams is currently planning the launch of a pounds 500,000 online-only

campaign that is due to break on 1 August. The drive will run for four

weeks.

He has booked space on RollingStone.com and is currently looking at

sports and heritage sites. The target market comprises collectors and

people who have an interest in history.

’This is a test campaign for Timeframed’, said Lucy Glozier, senior

account manager. ’I have strong hopes the company will be advertising

again this year.’

Nigel Potter, joint managing director, said: ’Our task is to place

Timeframed’s advertising in the most appropriate media environment, to

elicit the most effective cost per response and cost per order.’

Timeframed will also be using direct marketing.

The company supplies exclusive reproductions of archive documents that

can be selected from a defined period in history.

The archive documents come from a variety of sources such as the British

Library and the Enid Blyton archives.

The reproductions are offered as themed collections and sold as limited

editions.
