SapientNitro’s managing director, Kim Douglas, is leaving the UK agency to head up its Singapore office. Christian Oversohl, the digital agency’s senior vice-president and European lead, will also move to Singapore to run the Asia-Pacific headquarters. Nigel Vaz, senior-vice president and managing director, business, will now take over across the UK and Northern Europe on a full-time basis. (Campaign)

Ogilvy & Mather has hired Mike Donaghey and Chris Joakim as associate creative directors. The pair join from BBDO Toronto, where they held the same roles. (Campaign)


Marks and Spencer is to part company with executive director of general merchandise Kate Bostock after eight years at the company. She will be replaced by John Dixon, who has been with the company for 26 years, and is currently the executive director of food.

Belinda Earl, previously the chief executive of Debenhams, Jaeger and Aquascutum, will take up the position of style director on 1 September. Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, the former group president of The Estée Lauder Companies, will join at the same time in the new role of corporate director of strategy implementation and business development. Diageo has parted ways with Simon Breckon, its top vodka marketer in Europe. Philip Gladman, Diageo’s Western Europe white spirits marketing director, is filling the vacancy on an interim basis. (Marketing)


OMD has promoted Alex Newman to the position of head of mobile at OMD International and Omnicom Media Group EMEA. Milton Elias, the head of mobile at Starcom MediaVest Group, has been hired to replace Newman. (Media Week)

ITV has appointed Julian March to the newly created post of director of online for the network, while Robin Pembrooke, managing director of ITV online, is leaving the company at the end of the summer (Media Week)

David King, the chief executive of Time Out Group, is stepping down from his position and will be replaced by Aksel van der Wal, the group’s chief operating officer and president of Time Out New York. (Media Week)

Merlin Inkley, Channel 4's head of airtime management, is leaving the broadcaster after 20 years. Inkley will not be directly replaced, but Channel 4 is looking both internally and externally for a head of airtime management and advertising operations. (Media Week)
