Profero has promoted Ross Jenkins, the managing director of its media division Performance in the UK, to the new position of global managing director of Performance Media. (Campaign)

Cake has hired Leroyson Figueira as creative director for its London agency, replacing Simon Moore. (Campaign)

Ben Wood, the managing director of Aegis Media's iProspect in the UK, is set to take on a wider regional role ahead of an aggressive expansion strategy. (Campaign)

McCann London's chief executive, Chris Macdonald, is leaving the agency to become president of McCann New York. Macdonald, who joined McCann London from Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R as client services director in 2006 before being promoted to CEO in 2008, will move to New York in the summer. (Campaign)

Matt Gilbert and Dave Tokley, the creative team behind Glue Isobar's NatWest "secret cricketer" campaign, are joining Atomic London as senior creatives. (Campaign)

BETC London has recruited Olly Chapman, a senior producer from Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, for the new position of head of TV. The agency has also hired the creatives Sigrid Egedal and Oliver Rimoldi from Adam & Eve/DDB. The pair will work across all agency accounts. (Campaign)

DraftFCB London has appointed David Harris, former executive creative director at Wunderman, as its executive creative director. (Campaign)

Adam & Eve/DDB has bolstered its strategy and planning department with the hiring of Jessica Lovell and Georgia Norton. (Campaign)


Former McDonald's UK boss Steve Easterbrook is returning to the fast-food chain as its top global marketer, after 18 months away from the business. He has been appointed to the role of global chief brand officer and will have global responsibility for marketing, menu development and consumer and business insights. (Marketing)

Douglas Lamont, Innocent group marketing and innovation director, will become the company's first chief executive as the co-founders, step away from the business. (Marketing)

Martin Glenn, the former PepsiCo marketer and Birds Eye chief executive, is to become the new chief executive of United Biscuits (UB). (Marketing)


The BBC has named the former editor of The Times, James Harding, as the next director, BBC News and Current Affairs. Harding resigned as editor of the Rupert Murdoch-owned paper in December after five years and no reason was given for his exit by News International. (Media Week)

News International Commercial has promoted Brendan Judge, currently head of strategy at The Sun, to sales director, to cover Karin Seymour's maternity leave. (Media Week)


Chancellor George Osborne's former adviser Poppy Mitchell-Rose has joined Freud Communications. (PR Week)

The controversial proposed high-speed rail link from London to the north of England, HS2, has hired Andy Taylor as head of public affairs. Taylor will join on 7 May from the Association of Train Operating Companies, where he has been head of public affairs since 2009. (PR Week)

Zeno Group has expanded its UK-based senior team with the hire of Rachel Vrettos to lead its healthcare division. (PR Week)

Prostate Cancer UK has appointed Jane Spence, a former Dispatches and Newsnight director, to lead the charity's media and PR operations. (PR Week)

Hume Brophy has appointed Paul Jordan as associate partner and deputy MD of its Brussels practice. (PR Week)

Sally Osman has been brought in to replace Paddy Harverson as comms secretary to The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. (PR Week)

Bell Pottinger Private has hired John Sunnucks to serve as chairman of its financial PR division, Pelham Bell Pottinger. (PR Week)

MHP account director William Neal is taking on a head of comms role at former prime minister Tony Blair's pro-religion foundation, the Tony Blair Faith Foundation. (PR Week)
