Crispin Porter & Bogusky has hired Clyde McKendrick, from Los Angeles-based WDCW, as its executive planning director in London. (Campaign)

Stephen Woodford, the chairman of Adam&Eve/DDB, is stepping down from the agency. Woodford, the chief executive of DDB London until its merger with Adam & Eve last year, will focus on business interests outside of advertising. (Campaign)

R/GA has hired Kat Hahn, a former creative from Channel 4's in-house team, as an associate creative director. (Campaign)

Bartle Bogle Hegarty has promoted Mel Exon to the new role of chief digital officer. (Campaign)

Jeremy Schwartz, currently the country manager for L'Oreal UK & Ireland, has been promoted to lead The Body Shop International. (Marketing)

Coffee brand Costa has placed Associated British Foods marketer Carol Welch into the newly created role of brand and innovation director. (Marketing)

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has promoted David Collyer to director of marketing in the UK. He replaces Tamara Strauss, who has moved to another role within the company. (Marketing)

Heinz has promoted its UK marketing boss Giles Jepson to a Europe-wide role, as the food giant seeks to "simplify and strengthen" its European business. (Marketing)

VivaKi has promoted Danny Hopwood, the director of product for Publicis Groupe's online audience targeting operation Audience on Demand (AOD) in the UK, to the new position of head of platform, EMEA. (Media Week)

PR

Ketchum has hired its first creative director in London, with Andrew Ager joining after nearly three years at Weber Shandwick. (PR Week)

Open Road associate director and head of healthcare Andrew Hobson has quit the agency to take up a comms role with NHS South London. (PR Week)

Penny Fox, the deputy head of news and comms at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, is to join the Department of Energy and Climate Change as head of news. (PR Week)

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has bolstered its UK Healthcare team with the appointment of Mary Hicks as a director. (PR Week)
