Havas Worldwide London has ended a six-month search for a new executive creative director by hiring the Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO creative partner Mark Fairbanks. (Campaign)

OgilvyOne UK has hired Rob Blackie, the former EMEA managing director of Blue State Digital, as its director of social. It has also appointed Julie Mahoney, the head of content strategy at Digitas­LBi, in the new role of director of content. (Campaign)

Havas Media has bolstered its management structure with the appointment of Fiona McCann as managing partner and head of client leadership, and the promotion of Kate Cox to managing partner for strategy and ideas. (Campaign)

Rapp, the Omnicom data and direct marketing agency, has boosted its strategy department with three new hires, including the former Lida data planner Tina Christison. Diageo's head of brand PR Ruth Allchurch is to become managing director of Cirkle in January after more than seven years with the world's largest spirits company. (PR Week)
