Beattie, co-founder of Beattie McGuinness Bungay, is reported to be in talks with the BCA's producer, Unique Communications group.

According to the Guardian, Beattie is in the advanced stages of discussions over becoming a consultant.

Unique had a three-year deal with ITV to show the awards, but the agreement expired after this year's event, earlier this month.
