Zenith Media has hired Rhona Tridgell to head its BT business and

build on its planning credentials.

Tridgell joins from the headhunter, Kendall Tarrant, where she was a

media consultant for less than a year. Zenith Media is still looking for

a head of strategic planning following the departure of Rosemary Gorman

in the summer, but an announcement is expected shortly.

Simon Marquis, managing director of Zenith Media, said of Tridgell’s

appointment: ’She’s a terrific operator who has a long track record of

managing significant pieces of business.’

Before joining Kendall Tarrant, Tridgell was media communications

director of Foote Cone & Belding, but was made redundant after the

merger with Banks Hoggins O’Shea in 1998. She was previously client

services director at Ogilvy & Mather’s media agency, The Network, which

is now MindShare.

Tridgell said: ’I’ve always admired Zenith and, since I love working on

big clients, the opportunity to head the BT account was too good to

miss.’
