Truly London boosts senior media team

LONDON - The coalition agency Truly London has appointed Carl Walsh, the former head of media at Gyro International, as its media director.

Walsh will aim to develop the agency’s international media services. He was previously the group account director at Manning Gottlieb OMD, where he was responsible for integrated communication clients, including Virgin Money, Britannia Building Society, LA Fitness and COI.
Truly London was previously known as Smarter Communications, and restructured to develop a network of communications businesses in October last year.

Adam Shoefield, the group chief executive of Truly London, said: "Carl is a media heavyweight and will play an enormous part in driving and challenging our international media activity."
